No one wants to sit afk in lane last hitting minions for 20 minutes only to win or lose after a single team fight. Keep ARURF for the thousands of players who have 0 interest in boomer modes. Who is it hurting by keeping it available? You're just losing players for no reason.

It wouldn't be as bad if there was simply always a rotating game mode available. These long droughts are stupid.
I disagree, personally i think urf is one of the worst game modes in league and don't think it really has much in the way of strategy besides just spamming keys on cd. It was created as a joke, nothing wrong with that, if you want short games that are just kill frenzies and over in < 10 min, most arams have been going that way.
People in general want fast-paced games, or at least engaging games. Normal summoner's rift is a borderline chore at this point. 75% games won in champ select, another 20% won after one team fight, the last 5% are slow trudging victories that don't even feel good. The game is objectively boring just based on the action per minute that you see versus other game modes.
Keep ARURF? How about bring back og URF.
