If You Had to Rework Your Main, What Mechanic Would You Give Them?

For example, I main Talon and I would probably give him some sort of 'bandit' ability that interacts with gold.

(Don't say I'm copying Gbay99 because he said this once, I wasn't even thinking about him when I thought of the idea)

Talon just looks like he would steal things and with the tiny bit of his lore I know, it seems fitting.

But if Riot changed his W or E, I would sue them.

I would give Fizz the mechanic to revert his rework tbh :]

Diana, revert her small rework too, and bring back rune glave (forgot the right spelling, not sure if it's that). Thanks Ezreal

I'd leave Lux completely the same because she doesn't need a rework, however I'd add stealth to her shield, so whoever gets shielded is now invisible for the duration of the shield.

Oh is this supposed to be balanced? I thought we were just adding cool stuff to our kits.

I'd give darius something like "decimating strikes", which is essentially a black cleaver that only applies on AAs, but it stacks infinitely.

Turn Lulu's E into an AoE skillshot, but only shields one person. Enemies who stand in it will take DoT and Pix will grant true sight on anyone who stands in it.

Make Lulu's ult "healing" based on target's max or current HP.

Her W can be a linear skillshot and allies struck will get a movespeed buff, enemies struck in it will be polymorphed. Will go through everything, but polymorph duration is nerfed.

Now people can shut up about how Lulu "takes no skill".

Shaco

Q: Now makes nearby enemies Nearsighted for 1.5 seconds instead of stealthing him. Also gives a short speed boost if at least 1 enemy champion is hit.

W is removed, replaced with current R. Clone lasts 8 seconds and does not deal damage on death. Cooldown ~16/14//12/10/8, begins after clone dies.

R: Something similar to Lifestealer's ult from DOTA 2. Shaco hides himself inside a minion or monster and can jump out at a nearby enemy to deal bonus damage.

Lux

R: Final Spark

Ult is now global and resets entirely on kills and assists.

Leona Ult now blinds for 2 seconds and does more damage.

Singed Q: No longer deals damage but near-sights champions walking in poison.

Teemo Ult: Teemo can target a shroom and make it laugh. Has a 15 second static cooldown. Costs 50% max hp.

MonkeyKing W: Clone now E's onto closest enemy champion after it expires. Also, if the clone is CC'd, it will not expire until CC has ended.

Zac Passive: Allies can walk on blobs to heal for 10% of their maximum hp.

Poppy Revert her rework and start again from there. She was my first champion but sadly only got to play her for a month.

When I press Q on my main the enemy nexus just explodes. GG

Poppy Have her passive shield toss bounce off targets that die before it reaches them, back to her to proc the shield. It's more a QoL change since lag and changing minion aggro can make last hitting with the shield unwieldy, but it might still count.

If you're talking at least Xin Zhao level reworks, some actual sustain would be nice for laning. She's simultaneously really mana hungry while having no way to regain life, where most tanks seem to have an innate sustain mechanic.

Malphite has his passive shield which remains indefinitely until broken apart Maokai Gragas Zac Alistar Nunu TahmKenchGnar all have healing built into their kits (Gnar indirectly through his insane health regen and mega-gnar) Sion has infinitely stacking health Sejuani passive gives her almost infinite effective health going into engagements Shen uses energy as an effectively endless resource Ornn can build health or mana on-the-spot Amumu Leona Galio Nautilus Rammus Braum Poppy are the only tanks without this trait for laning, and of them only Galio and Poppy are regularly played as solo laners.

She has her passive shield, but it's only temporary, and from its changes around the time of Courage of the Colossus (which has since been removed), is very, VERY temporary, besides being difficult to proc and relient on sometimes inconsistent last hitting.

She certainly gets tanky once she has several items because of her W passive, but it can be an absolute pain getting to that point when she's so fragile early while simultaneously having no way to reliably get back into the game.
