Just skipped a platinum division playing against golds.

I just skipped from p5 to p3 because supposidly my mmr is high enough... playing games with golds. I even had unranked and silvers in my games within my past 10. How does that make any sense? Maybe I'm completely misunderstanding the mmr system, or its got some bugs in it.
