I was curious on how the placement works for ranked. My Fiancee and I played all 10 ranked game together and went 7 wins and 3 losses. Some how she was placed into Bronze 1 and I was placed into Silver 3. How does that happen when we played in all the same games together? We had really good scores for the wins. Can anyone shed some light on this situation?
ComradeFiora1 votesI don't even know, I lost all 10 placement matches, and still made Bronze 2 (lucky to not be bronze 5 amirite?) playing support, it definitely has something to do with k/d/a combined with win/loss ratio and what role you played, though I don't know how much weight those 3 items carry and what the ratios are for them when the system decides where to place someone.

All of those should have some sort of impact on your placement. I won't claim to be an authority, though.
