Ranked Placements

Okay, So normally I don't complain about this type of situation given I usually don't play ranked but this pushed my buttons a bit. I main support and play a lot of Thresh, he's my favorite. I got to play support in ranked almost every game so I always got to play him. Given this, I did great majority of the games, win or lose. I got S scores multiple times despite only winning 6 out of the 10 games. I got placed in bronze 2. Now, normally I wouldn't be upset about this. Whatever you know i'll just work my way up. Here's the catch. My MMR seems to be ridiculously high. I didn't see as much of it during placements, but before placements and still during normals I'm always placed with high silvers and low golds. Seeing this constantly and playing at this "higher elo" (that is compared to bronze) I was expecting to be put somewhere in there. It would still happen in placements though, and even being closer to evenly matched during them, I would carry as support. Did this happen to anyone else?
