Sometimes I find odd how Riot's skin priorities work... We have Mundo and Teemo with over 8 skins... We have Azir who suffered with 2 skins until last snowdown, when he got his 3rd one... And kinda realized that Tristana has TWO LEGENDARY SKINS.

I always assumed that ALL champions were gonna get at least ONE legendary before another one would be used...

Well you also have to consider the age of the champion. Azir went slightly more than a year without a new skin. That is it. His skins also require more work considering the need to skin his soldiers as well, and both his skins are excellent.

Meanwhile Mundo and Teemo are among the first 40 champions available, of course they will have more skins. Many of their skins are also of much lower caliber than what you see now.

It has been about a year since Mundo's last skin, and before that he hadn't had a skin in 2 years (and that was just the TPA one).

Explain Gnar. He had snow day Gnar last snowdown... And less than half an year later, he's getting the Leon one...

Re-skin or not, doesn't seem much fair to some champions that have less than 4 skins.

Not to mention that some skins lately don't look good...

Wonder how does the whole system work? What makes them create those skins in the first place?

Priority and amount of play. Compare Azir and Gnar to Urgot and Yorick. Azir and Gnar have been played in LCS and are high play value.

Yorick and Urgot don't see that much play value in LCS if any so they aren't classed in for new skins. Aside from that they also are dated and need serious VU's and in Yoricks case apparently a full rework though with the new mana regen items he is a monster.

Always assumed that it's some stock holders thing where loyal payers get to choose skins to add.

I'll be honest, the new galaxy skins don't seem good, and I don't even know what made them bring up those 3 "death" skins for singed, kayle and nocturne.

But if it's gameplay, well... That's debatable...

they dont have priorities as far as i know. they make whatever has a good design not what champ is lacking skins. this way they dont force out skins for fans of a champ
