You ever get hooked by a Blitz hook after Poppy launches him away? You still get pulled all the way to the location he was in when the hook hit. You don't like it, buy a QSS. You're going to be held there anyway without it.
On an off note, Blitzcrank's hook and Darius' hook used to pull you to wherever they were when the hook ended.
