How does a keyboard bring you from bronze to gold? I got a das keyboard s ultimate. Doesn't have any letters or anything on it. Love it

have you heard and seen of cherry mx red, brown, speeds, and etc? The ones you are using are cherry mx blues which is favored by typers.

you might like or not like them depending on your personal preference, on what you think of the feedback, sensitivity, and etc

I really like the switches thanks for informing me on the type of switches. I never really understood until now that there are names for different types of switches.

in short

the most popular switches are reds, blues, and browns out of all the other cherry mx switches

im using cherry mx blue on my corsair k70 right now (which you are using the same thing as well on your razer), typing on it does feel good and which its whats mostly meant for and all, but It feels very uncomfortable when I game on it, since it can tire out my fingers and it dosen't have that fast and comfort response I want to have things happen faster.

My k70 is more towards an ergonomic look, if you want a gaming type of look go for strafe which is last expensive than the k70 since its made of plastic while the k70 is made of aluminum backplate. k70 has wrist rest, strafe dosen't.

There are other types of corsair keyboard as well, the k70 lux, k95 RGB, Strafe RGB, and etc

Reds, has the fastest acutuation force and are best for gaming, but I find them ok, they are linear, and have no tactile and clicky feedback compared to the blues do, and all the FPS player pros use this switch since in FPS every movement and second counts. the key can respond only by pushing it half way down.

Browns, a balance between gaming and typing, I really feel comfortable gaming and typing on this, it is good for Moba and etc. It isnt clicky but has a fast actuation force as the reds with a little tactile feedback.

the switches that I like and dislike are all my personal preference, there are many other people that have different tastes

the popularity of the switches are 1.Browns 2.Blues 3.Reds

the 2013 version one? yeah all the keys from back then and before were good, but after the 2013, 2014-2016 razer switches have become bad since the switches aren't as good as the cherry mx ones, poor build quality, not durable. And they aren't german made, while razer has it overpriced and have the switches manufactured in china instead of germany.

And even the death adder mouses and chroma mouses only last for 3-12 months which they break, and its very well known too if you do some research and have friends that own it for that long.

Right now, Corsair for keyboard, and logitech for mouse is the way to go, corsair at least uses good materials, and great performance, logitech mouses are very durable

Yeah 2013 version is very well built. I'll look into Corsair maybe ill find a good deal during cyber Monday.
