should i buy Jhin or lucian

Jhin is incredibly strong late game, and has a guaranteed crit every 4 shots. He is incredibly immobile though, and his positioning is everything, BUT his crits give move speed, which makes kiting a bit easier.

Lucian is a very strong early game carry, and has a few builds to go to depending on the enemy comp. He is more of a caster ADC, and has escape in his kit.

In all, Lucian is very strong early and can snowball HARD, he's also easy to learn. Jhin is more difficult but can unload HUGE amounts of damage. If you're looking for an ADC to learn entirely I'd recommend Jhin, but if you're looking for someone to play in a pinch, I'd say Lucian.

As a jhin main I wanna say jhin but it really depends on how you wanna play your adc.

Lucian is very mobile with his dash and his dash and passive plus other abilities can allow you to be quite the lane bully despite his somewhat short range. Lucian isn't as support dependent and due to jhins passive with him needing to reload, one could say Lucian is much more reliable in damage output. However if you get to late game jhin can be a monster. While jhin has fixed attack speed, it's beneficial to build attack speed and critical strike chance thanks to his passive which ups his damage by a percentage. Full crit jhin is the way I usually go so each one of your shots hits like a truck. Jhin can rip through tanks super easily come late game with proper kiting. Lucian is much more reliable with his damage throughout the game and can also dash around the field to take out different targets and avoid cc. Jhin relies heavily on proper positioning for team fights especially when using his ult, or you'll just get melted before you can do anything. Also watching your shots so you're not stuck in a situation where you die or can't get a kill cause you to reload for a couple seconds is important

Tl:Dr go Lucian if you want a mobile lane bully with early game dominance and want someone easy to learn. Go jhin if you want a bit more of a challenge adc in the sense he need good positioning, is a bit more support dependent due to no mobility and want huge damage. His reload can be infuriating though, you really gotta know how to kite and pick and choose when to go in and when to back off

But I just gotta say, there is very little more satisfying in this game than smacking someone with that forth shot and watching their health just disappear lol

Take Jhin ffs. I'm so TIRED about seeing mister purifier EVERY SINGLE GAME I feel I'll start to pay people to ban him.

I prefer Jhin, as his theme is so much better.

I want to get Jhin. Jhin can use his Lotus to escape and using Deadly Flush to roots his enemies, so he won't need mush mobility.
