Core issues within the current game that need to be addressed.

How players feel: The main reason players feel bad about the game is because we feel like we have little control over the whole game. In season 6 junglers would afk farm leaving laners feeling like they had control over their lane. Although not very interactive it is better than junglers being able to camp a lane and not fall behind due to jungle giving catch up experience making farm junglers not get ahead even if the ganking jungler never gets anything. Ganking junglers should be punished for failing a gank. This leaves laners feeling bad since they dont have as much control over the early game it also leaves junglers wanting more because their impact over the game decreases.

Verticle jungle: Verticle jungle is bad for the game because it makes one side of the map not able to play the game leaving them feeling like they have no control while also not allowing the junglers to interact very much with each other. It's basically the same issue as lane swapping back in season 6 i believe.

Scuttle crab: Scuttle crab isn't necessarily bad for the game this issue is it gives too much experience and gold and spawns really early further making junglers feel like they have little control since it gives so much but you need to rely on having good match ups in your lanes and the laners actually winning the lane in order for them to secure the scuttle. Although i think it spawns a bit too early, making it spawn when the jungle camps are respawing around 4min would also be bad since it would incentivise vertical jungling.

Red side jungle: Red side jungle simply gives too much experience and gold compared to blue side allowing junglers to kill 3 camps and scuttle than spam gank until red side respawns while not falling behind. This is bad for lanes since jungle isn't being punished for ganking all the time while also bad for jungle because it reduces interaction between junglers properly pathing and outplaying each other.

Tower plating: Tower plating simply gives too much gold incentivising junglers to gank a lane even more since there is such a big reward for them on top of the fact that they get lane exp. This also makes bot lane snowball out of control way faster than other lanes. Since there are two champions bot lane and the tower doesn't have extra armor to keep lane swaps from happening a winning bot lane gets more plates.

Edit: only d3 right now so still have a bit to learn but it's how i currently feel and my enjoyment of the game has been diminishing the more i climb.

The red side JG giving to much compared to blue side is 1000% correct. As a jg main too many games i find myself nearly ignoring my blue side Jungle and instead just clearing krugs and raptors off spawn because its much better xp, and even with de-prioritizing half my farm I can generally stay even or ahead.

Basically If im against an enemy jungler who doesn't know that krugs/raptors give way more exp than the blue side camps, I'm almost guaranteed to get a lead in the jungle, Yes as a jungler game knowledge of certain things like this should give you some advantage but right now a full red side clear is out of line how much more beneficial it is than a full blue side clear.

Midbeast did a rly good video on the games problems. Unfortunately tho riot hasnt shown any interest on polishing their content out in... years. Their philosiphy seems to be just keep adding new content while the old remains broke, and hope people will be 2 distracted to care.

its not just those issues that need to be addressed the whole game feels weird you feel powerless even if extremely fed you cannot really do much even if the enemy has inted early they will still manage to comeback without being puninshed for playing bad in early also the item builds feel repetive everyone builds the exact same thing and the picks are pretty much the same for each lane it does not feel like the game has 100+ items or 100+ champs you always see the same ones it feels more repetitive instead of fun

I totally get your frustration here and think these do need to be addressed, (especially camping) but there are other parts of the game that aren’t doing well either other than just ganking and jungling....

I'm not a jungler player, but I've noticed how one-sided pressure is this season compared to previous ones.

Camping used to be common, but every game now it seems like one jungler invests all their pressure top lane, usually for something like Irelia or Riven, while the other goes around the map constantly ganking mid or bot.

The enemy isn't punished for unsuccessful ganks, but you are.

In bot lane this is especially problematic. You can get bullied out of lane which is nearly as bad as dying to a gank because they get a wave, you're missing a wave, and they get gold from turret plating. So now, they dominate the lane and the only way that's going to be fixed is if you get a gank or they make a serious mistake.

You're stuck near or under your tower, hoping that your jungler's bet on top pays off, dreading the inevitable 4 man gank. And when they take your tower, they're going to go mid and get that tower. By then the snowball has begun and you had no chance to stop it. All because of a few ganks that didn't end up killing you or even making you waste summoner spells. It can't be fun for the person that gets camped up top all alone either. I've seen so many AFK's and DC's from top laners this season.

Agree in general

The current issue is that junglers have nothing better to do. Xp/gold from camps is so shite and the respawns are so long that generally all a jungler can do is gank gank gank. Vision is horrid so invades are risky as fuck, and with how snowbally the game is, why risk it at all?. And by soaking XP they offset the small disadvantage to ganking. Damage and mobility creep don't help the situation, as you're less likely to survive/avoid a gank even if you see it coming. In addition, the dmg creep equates to jungle clears being much faster, so everyone ganks sooner

Ganking junglers should be punished for failing a gank

They are punished, by the opposing jungler. You show top? Your bot side jungle and dragon are now gone. Show bot? Top side jungle is gone. Mid? I'll take a camp and gtfo. If they're low post gank, they can be picked by the opposing jungler or I can now gank while your allies CD's are gone. Junglers aren't any less punished than they were in the past, the only difference is junglers gank more often
