This surge of tanks in the current meta are effecting the utility and the overall value of assassin junglers. the nerfs to the dos jungle item and the introduction and buffs to the new tankier items don't help either.
We should not forget the Khazix's in this world and toss a friendly look at them and consider a change

Raxicor1 votesI'm not really seeing the correlation between the two. Unless we are talking about counter jungling? The intent of the new item, the way I understand it, is to help the tanks clear faster so that they have more presence in earlier levels and later they can stay in teamfights fights for longer. They are slowly broadening the jungle so that we're not always stuck with J4 and Lee Sin every game. I'm almost willing to bet they have something in mind for the assassins in the future as well.
SpongebobIsLife1 votesI'm not too sure about that, because as it stands there are only 3 junglers that are considered assassins, and they are hka, eve, and elise. The problem with all three of these champions, is that they are very hard to balance. Eve and elise would need a rework, and Kha would need a minor scale one.

Raxicor1 votesThere's also Yi, Nidalee, Shaco, and Nocturne. Eve I know that Riot has mentioned is up for rework once they actually decide what direction to go with her. Elise they definitely need to look into too. She's a high skill cap champion and doesn't fair very well in late game especially if she's not built tanky. I would be happy to see Kha with more sustain in his W so that he can go from jungle to lane ganks easier.

Robert Smith1 votesRisk and reward when playing assassins. If you take the risk of playing them and not choosing a tank of utility champ, then you get the reward of having another carry. If you choose the risk of playing a tank/utility champ then you get the reward of having more CC or Tanks on your team. At least with the ADC they have a support to help them farm and stay alive, while assassins take care of themselves in the jungle or have the jungler help in mid lane.

No, amumu will destory a kha late game if kha doesn't go 20-0. This is due to the meta revolving teamfights 5v5 now where stuff like kha can't help out much.
