So top (A level 30 smurf) got fed the entire game by Veig and Maokai.. Lee just ganked anything and everything (mostly top and mid) since nobody put up wards.. After match they talked crap non-stop about how bad we were. Asked 'em how some level 30s got put into a game with 20s and they pointed out Lux, a level 6.

tl;dr: How is smurfing allowed? It ruins the game for people trying to learn and have fun.

'Cause there is literally no way to stop it?

Next time you run into a smurf, watch them and learn. Try to figure out what it is they are doing differently than you are. "Playing better" is a much more intricate thing than just somehow being better at mashing buttons. Watch, see where they are better than you, improve those areas... And now you are good too.

There's only no way to stop it because Lol is free to play. One of the big downfalls of a free to play system is smurfs and real world trading are much harder to stop when they can simply make a new account. Not sure it's worth it honestly.

Easily. Limit accounts to 1 per IP. Won't 100% stop the smurfs, but my god they'll almost all be gone. May hurt those who have multiple people in 1 house who play, but I'm sure something can be figured out. (Off the top of my head I'm thinking register MAC to player account, don't allow another MAC to connect unless it's with a new IP as well [showing they're playing at a friend's house or w/e.. idk, rough idea])

"Playing better" really isn't much when they're usually only a little bit better than myself (if not the same) but they're going up against low level people (on my team) who they feed off of until they're 3-4 levels above me and I can't do anything to combat them.

Only thing I can really see myself working on that would make a drastic difference? Not playing with randoms. That's another way that smurfs win so often, they're usually with another one of their smurf friends and work together whereas it's damn near impossible to get solo queues to work together.

Wouldn't work. The reason Riot stopped issuing IP bans is because they would ban 300-400 accounts at once due to college dorms n' such. Plus, you can always change your IP pretty easily.

It's not an IP ban, and registering their MAC to their account would solve the issue of multiple people from a single IP.

Next time report them for harassing you and move on to the next game...these QQ threads are not needed...

Mozzy4Ever1 votes

Yea cause reporting someone for something they're not doing is totally cool. That's another huge problem with LoL, people report for EVERYTHING just cause they're butthurt over stupid crap.

Also, "QQ threads"? Really? Get out. Your opinion became worthless once you pulled that one out.

So top (A level 30 smurf)

I'm pretty sure once you get an account to 30 it's just an Alternate account, not a smurf account.

While technically true, it may as well be a smurf account when you play with your "friends" (usually a smurf on a low level account) because the effect is exactly the same.

I smurf on occasion. Go ahead and yell at me for it. Want to know why I do so? Because I don't like dragging my <level 10 friends into a game with a bunch of golds and silvers. I try to support my friends, help my opponents with advice as much as possible, and generally try to be the most positive player in the game.

Face it, your problems isn't the smurfs, it's the people playing them.
