Matchmaking system and ELO hell

As I've played other mobas, I've noticed there's not really an equivalent to our ELO hells. I had a long discussion with a riot employee about how their matchmaking system works, and basically the gist of it is if the system thinks you should be lower it'll push you lower by staggering LP gain and putting you with other demoters while placing you against better teams, which guarantees that there'll be plenty of ELO hell because anyone caught in this LP trap is essentially stuck until the next season of ranked; and naturally players who lose a lot are going to be a lot angrier, which creates more ragers and insures that the leavers/trolls/afking trend continues in the League community.

Though, rage quitting out of a ranked just guarantees that you're wasting your time in the first place. I've personally experienced 50+ leavers usually within the first 5 minutes, die twice than leave seems to be popular. However even with that bit of bad luck I've managed to get into my diamond promos several times, and dealing with all the leavers and babysitting the ragers doesn't nearly affect me as much as gaining 16 LP for a win, and than losing 25. The system just aggravates the problem of the already shitty community. I've played this game for 6+ years and Riot has yet to figure out how to balance champions or create a good matchmaking system. Why not just making it a random pairing of people with equal MMR, why does the system have to favor certain players over others because of their W/L ratio? A good player can do well every game than lose half the games because someone rages?

"elo hell" doesnt exist in the long run, you can only be cheesed out of so many games before it evens out on both sides, enemy team has dc's and feeders too. if you want to complain about 10 in a row games, fine, but dont complain if they're the only 10 you've played. it takes hundreds of games for leagues match making to be accurate, but if you've actually played hundreds, and you're still in wood 5, its you, not "elo hell"

if you want to talk about why you cant break into something like diamond/master, its simply because thats the way the LP system works, which is stupid, you could be an amazing player, but league flat lines exponentially in terms of how many players "must" be in certain tiers simply because of the way 50/50 win loss works and number of players, so you simply need to play more than the people around you, or just get that one crit off and win the fight, now all of a sudden, you crit, you got first blood, you got a turret, you got a barron, you won this game.
