Best champion to play when first starting to play ranked!?

i have just started to play ranked, who u would u recommend to start playing and learning to play? i am now playing annie and amumu but who else should i play?

Just play your favorite role/champ in ranked and have fun with it.

Find the champion you have the most fun with and play them, you will want to learn more about them and learning the ins and outs of a champion is an important thing to start out with. Play the fun champions in a bunch of normals first till you feel confident with them, then show what you learned in ranked.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

yes thats good idea, i also have fun with amumu, annie, tf, riven and kindred. but i dont play people like riven and tf because players say they r hard to use and i shouldnt play them. thx for the response

Don't be discouraged to get good at the harder to use champions after you learn more about the game, it will be rewarding to get really good at riven! Just make sure you practice her in norms, I dont want you to be discouraged by people raging at you in ranked.

whatever you do, don't listen to higher elo player. They will steer you wrong. But to answer your question ADC is best option I think. You can play with a good support that way. Ashe Jinx Caitlyn MissFortune

I mean high elo players are high elo for a reason. Also ashe is trash tier, same with mf and jinx. Cait is pretty good though.

Jinx is my favorite champion, wish every meta champion didn't make playing her miserable.

ok so do u think i should play Tristana because she actually someone who i have played a lot as adc?! I also do like jinx. thx i think i will try ;)

By all means listen to the player that has consistently proven there should be a level below Bronze

Play whatever you want - as long as you have a few games under your belt and know what you're doing, you'll be fine. It's just like normals.

Ideally that would be anyone you have champion mastery 5 with.

I wouldnt recommend playing ranked at all unless you are proficient in every position, are familiar with many of the games items [ which can help counter ] and know 3-4 champs per role. Learn champ appropriate counters [ anivia > heimer, cait > vayne etc ], and select your champ based on your team comp and what counters theirs. I dont recommend relying on 2-3 picks.
