Would you guys be Okay if the Surrender Vote was removed from ranked only?

Generally, I never liked the idea of surrendering in ranked games mostly because of me usually being the one guy who says know and believes in comebacks being possible. And I will say this, I did switch to heroes of the storm for my competitive MOBA, and the lack of a surrender button in that game only made it better for me in terms of mood and comebacks because I'm able to play every game to the end just fine.

One of the major benefits for surrender removal would be that it would give late game champs the ability to finally make a difference, I generally don't see much late game nowadays because I see a majority of surrenders all because I'm the only one who votes no. And most of those games I feel like I could've made a comeback on them too.

This, of course, is just from low Elo analysis, there may be fewer surrenders in Plat-Challenger ranks. And if that is the case then all the more reason to remove surrendering in ranked even more because if the higher ranks hardly ever surrender they wouldn't even notice if it was removed from ranked.

Surrendering at a normal game I think is fine because it's meant to be for fun or to try out the champion you just unlocked, but I feel like ranked should have the surrender vote removed to help encourage people

What do guys think, should surrender be removed from the ranked queue?

god damnit. another surrender vote. i see a shit storm already brewing. surrendering be left in but implement penalties for being used. such as less lp and slower honor rank up. cause there is no good reason to surrender ever. people spam ff instead of using the exit button to leave a game even when it has been 3/2 5 times in a row. they don't know when to quit and since there is no penalty for surrendering people can spam it without worry. go ahead. fight me on this.

Too many people waste everyone's time on a match that looked terrible from champion select and spiraled out of control in the game. Even when it is clear to people that don't even play the game that we don't have a shot, like in the case of an AFK, there's always that one person who will not surrender.

Surrender button is overall good for the game. There are cases of teammates wimping out on winnable games.

Riot is also making changes for 1) make comebacks more realistic and 2) force decided games to end sooner. Those should address a lot of the bad feels.
