Dodge Penalty vs Trolls Fix

I recently sent this to riot. tell me what u think! Also, please vote at the bottom. If you voted "No" or "This is not the solution" please explain. I want feedback!!!! Please and Thank you!

"YOU NEED TO ADD THIS FEATURE!!! durring champ select, some players will troll pick someone like garren mid, even after someone else is already going mid. there needs to be 2 options durring champ select. first and foremost, you need to be able to report this person right then and there. otherwise, someone might dodge and get dinged with a leaver penalty and loss of LP if its a ranked (which most of the time it is, so maybe only have these features in ranked que?).

The Next feature is an important one. there needs to be the option that u can all vote on one person to not get dinged the the LP loss OR the leaver penatly. that way, one person can leave, not get ANY penalties for doing so, and help the other 3 people out from lossing LP, not to mension the time wasted playing the ranked game with a troll.

If all 4 people who voted all report the same person (the troll) he losses LP and has the leaver penalty.

adding these features will help the players who actually want to play the game succeed and the players that just want to be jerks will get caught before any harm is done. PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE!!!!"

That's a pretty good idea too. same basic principle, get rid of the leaver penalty for everyone by surrendering before the game starts. would you still lose LP? if you do, maybe only lose half as much as normal? the only problem is that you still have that troll floating from game to game. with the report option, you can at least make his account banned for a few minutes.

I immediately got downed by the fact that you consider garen mid a troll pick.

Garen can mid VERY successfully against many champions.

I crushed a talin mid before so i did to a velkoz.

I eat katarinas for breakfats, and poor yasuo can't do shit once i get a few lvls.

I also like to counter katarina mid with............ Wait for it.................aatrox!! Yes aatrox absolutely RAPESS katarinas ANYTIME!!!

And you know why your 'solution' may not work??

Because i would never get the chance to SMASH katarinas with garen or aatrox cause meta hoea like you would dodge each time!

I also have had great success as gragas/lissandra support. Every time people see me pick it they freak out, thinking i am trolling.

So yes i have made a similar post before but it's not the solution. People would dodge for anything...

that's a good point. this is why i like forums. i get to hear peoples ideas and thoughts on the same thing that i wouldnt have thought of.

but you're right. aatrox IS a good counter to kat. and i DO believe that people would want to dodge that champ select. i think the DO need some way to prevent the real trolls that just want to go top even if they're last pick and once in game, they just run up there anyways. so maybe just the report option in champ select. maybe not the dodging idea.

There are hundreds of threads about this same stupid thing already... you simply do not need to create another.

And plz, there's nothing to discuss anymore since people have been spamming this stupid idea for like 4 years now.

The problem with this sort of system is that there's nothing to stop 4 players on a team from ganging up on the 5th if that person picks a "troll" champion.

ya, yous kinda goes with Oddysseas's comment. i just wish this could be prevented. RUINS ranked system so hard.
