Jhin Ult Marker In Relation to Bullets

Not sure if it's a bug, I guess more a question if this is working as intended. I've attached a video, the 7-8sec mark, is what I'm questioning. From my perspective it seems like I'm well outside of the ult marker before he fires and you can see the bullet way outside when it does hit. Was just wondering if it's just the height of the bullet off the ground or something, but regardless seems like it's beyond the markings on the ground. Ultimately I step in a trap and die, but I'm not upset about the death just questioning the marker.
