Hey so I was wondering what the rules are on the whole provisional thing. I was 7-3 and linked my match history so you can see how I was a big impact on my teams success. I got placed in Bronze 3. I am beyond astounded at being placed so low, given my success in the provisional games. If I could get some feedback on why this happened it would be greatly appreciated.
LordCrazyGlue1 votesYour KDA is low that is why you are in bronze 3. going 10/10/15 is not good stats (2.5 KDA Kill+assists/deaths). going 5/3/10 is way better (5.0 KDA). Stop worring about diving for kills. focus on getting pick offs of out of position enemy and your cs. Stop diving
Mooing Kev1 votesno.... personal performance has no effect on mmr. Winrate it self very slightly. The biggest factor here is your previous hidden mmr which was probably alot lower than your actual elo last season. Just checked and your mmr and its 871 which is alot lower than your actual elo so that explains why.
LordCrazyGlue1 votesso your logic is that a former silver 3 who trolls 10 games and goes 10-0 due to luck gets to be silver 3 still or better.....? Ah no Riot fixed that kda matters since season 3 ended and the new ranked system came to be.
Legostrike1 votesYea because If you're playing a role that gives other people kills, such as a tank or Support, you're likely to have more deaths then kills.
Mooing Kev1 votesIt's not my logic is reality. Yes even if you feed 10 games in a row but you get lucky and get carried you will get a rank close to your previous mmr. If you can source where you heard that kda matters since season3. Also you do not get the same rank or BETTER. It's always a bit less than your previous rank so if you were plat 5 you will get gold3-gold 1 depending on your mmr.
Grashnim1 votesYou were probably close to bronze 3 when you ended last season etc... I don't think provionals really change your location. It's a false hope approach to a season reset.
Tahm Kruze1 votesGold 4 last season played ranked throughout preseason. I have an mmr of gold yet I went 4-6 for various reasons and I got placed in s3. A friend of mine I know boosted to gold 5, didnt play ranked at all during preseason, went 4-6 got placed in s2. I dont understand the provisional system. Its one of those things you just gotta accept and move on.
