Dynamic Queue and getting support

So are there plans to make adjustments to Dynamic Queue when it comes to selecting support (secondary) and fill? Even Riot recently joked about how fill is basically selecting support. My problem here is that while I main support, there are times I want to play something else. So I queue up as bot as my primary and support as a secondary since those are my two roles I want to be able to play. Except I almost always get support even if its selected as my secondary. I thought the original idea behind choosing roles was to encourage players to master at least 2 roles. Being a support players basically being forced to master one role. At least back in the day of Team Builder I could queue up as a specific ADC and play as one to get practice or a game in.

So long story short. Are there plans to do something about dynamic queues and basically always ending up playing support? Maybe either increased IP or something for selecting support as role and getting it? Maybe an option to allow for longer queue time so you can have a higher chance of getting your primary role if you chose support as a secondary? If this has been address by Riot feel free to link me to something recent that they've commented on the problem.

I do enjoy maining and playing support, but I think players are almost being railroaded into it without really anything coming from it. And please don't bring up queue time as their "reward". Sorry but not waiting a few minutes (and maybe a bit longer) doesn't offset the next 20-40 minutes of playing a game that you may have wanted to play something besides support.
