Please find a solution to lower the smurfs duoing in LOWER ELO...I can not CLIMB or try to win a Ranked Game if they have a Diamond Evelynn who is smurfing so their Bronze 1 ADC friend can get Gold before the Season ends...

Is anyone else annoyed at simply how many games you play in Silver/Gold ELO to only find the enemy team having someone who is smurfing and ruining your chances at winning Promos/just even one game?

Go away Chermorg, as I stated, you're encouraging Duo Boosting WHICH indeed is a boosting method... Not all boosting services requires money transaction. Some do it because their friends asked them to.

Implying you can't climb because of some rare smurfs in your games.

Implying that there is enough diamond players for you to see them in your games more than a couple times in your bronze life.

I agree, smurfing needs to go. Hopefully the mandatory valid email cuts down on it a bit.

As for duoing to raise someone's Rank, Riot has expressly stated that's not the same as boosting. In Riot's eyes, boosting only happens when someone else plays on your account. That said, if they crack down on smurfing, bye bye "thing that's not quite boosting" problem.

As long as they play on their own accounts, its perfectly fine. People are allowed to smurf with their friends.

You're still missing the point. Even if all plat+ players were playing on bronze / silver accounts all day (which is not happening), you still wouldn't see much of them.

I do get annoyed by smurfs, you're absolutely right; but I still don't see any way to solve it, really. As long as accounts aren't verified with personal info, people can make smurfs. Even phone number verification can be faked.

There just isn't a solution that gets around that, as annoying as it is.

Smurfing is not an issue. If you think it is, you need to become a better player, because clearly you're not good enough to be playing in your elo. Get gud. You're the problem. That's all there is to say.
