Feedback about Thunderlord's Decree and Kog'Maw

  1. About Thunderlord's Decree Once I saw the new keystone Thunderlord's Decree, I thought it should be the raise of on-hit effect. However, it got an unreasonable CD. I don't think there is anyone who use this keystone for assassinating. For assassinating/burst, it's damage is bad. Why don't I use Deathfire Touch which has much higher damage, no CD and easy to use(no need to stack the 3rd attack/spell). It should be either i) remove the CD for on-hit effect attacker / fast spell caster ii) at least 3 time the damage for assassinating/burst to compare with other keystone.

  2. About Kog'Maw Is there any Riot staff who really hate Kog'Maw? Kog'Maw is the only adc champion that has nearly no self-protection tool. The only thing he got is his poor E to slow enemies a bit. Once he get caught, it means death. However, he already has low movement speed, short attack range with no W, no burst, pooer defensive status, nearly no escape tool. You even nerf his R to and W to make him extremely mana hungry. You make it even worst by doubling his attack speed with W to lower his mobility. If you really wanna do so, a extremely high damage should be expected with W, but you add a 55% damage to make high AD meaningless. Okay, we can still play on-hit effect. But you nerf BotRK, nerf his W damage a lot (originally, it is 6% max health. If you wanna compare the old version in term of damage, you need 3% max health now. However, as a on-hit effect attacker, you need 6 items to make it 3% with nice attack speed. Worse still, you lengthen its W CD by a very large extent. Now, he has the worst survivability, bad laning phase and poor damage. Meanwhile, you are buff Vayne W to 12% max health as true damage. I really can't see the point of nerfing him to such a great extent, expect he killed someone lover and the guy hate him a lot. Here is my suggestion. i) making his W have a base % damage (like 2% for max W) / scale better / deal true damage; ii) make him run faster / has longer range even without W / higher armor and magic resist; iii) make him less mana hungry (he is the no.1 mana hunger in adc as non-burster); iv) lower his W cooldown with no mana cost; v) making Thunderlord's Decree no CD / add back Madred's Bloodrazor.

Thank you.

ffs you complain that the mastery doesnt work on kog maw? i mean yea, the mastery needs a buff but not for the sake of kog maw.

just take goddamn fervor. no wonder that champion has such a low winrate if people are doing shit like this.

"oh rito, kog maw is so weak, because im picking this mage mastery instead of 80 on hit damage on a guy with 5.0 attack speed. why you hate him so much?"

i mean are you for real? reading through your comment, youre not even talking about ap kog maw, who would probably still take fervor over thunderlord.

can you people actually read tooltips and use your heads for ones?

Kog Maw is quite possibly the most OP champ in the game right now......

People are building him with full ADC builds, and running ridiculous masteries on him.... no wonder I am pleasantly surprised every time the enemy takes Kog and gets totally wrecked.

It's unreal people can not take 5 seconds to read...

KogMaw item 3124 item 3153 item 3091 item 3085

Although the game is eesentially over once kog gets his first item

KogMaw item 3124 .... gg kog has a full build.

Fervor is currently the first choice currently, but it's not great as it need to be stacked (and that 55% seems to apply to Fervor too, but I'm not sure). For AP Kog, man, it's also weaker now. Triple damage from R is great. But lower damage from W is bad. Previously, you can hit over 10% max health per hit with W for playing AP, it's a considerable damage for just 1 or 2 hit. Now, R need more mana with 10s debuff duration and much lower damage if enemies is over 50% health and you can't do a great damage with W. You will probably run out of mana before killing the enemies.

For Thunderlord's Decree, now only Kog, some cham like Jax and Kayle can still benefit from it. Magic damage from Thunderlord's Decree is different from physical damage from Fervor. Needless to say fervor need to stack which may be harmful sometime. Fervor is no doubt better in a long fight, but Thunderlord's Decree is better for laning and fast 1 v 1 fight against non-tank.

The problem is not solely on damage. It's that for a cham with such a low survivability, extreme high damage is expected. But it's not. All i see is nerfing him and buff the other when he is completely not op, which totally doesn't make sense. And the win rate stat tells the same thing.

Thunderlords is a 20% bonus AP scaling, which, is with 400 AP, 80 extra damage on a mastery. Deathfire's takes time, which is bad for an assassin.

But I still gotta say I dislike Thunderlords, I think I'd prefer Stormraiders (the assassin keystone)

Kog is fine.

His theoretical max DPS is absurdly high... if you give him defensive tools, you'd have to nerf his damage potential and then we'd be right where we started.
