Replace CS counter with a total gold counter

As a player, I'd like a way to truly compare strength of players, so i can tell how a jungler's/support's value compares to anyone else. This could be accomplished by replacing the CS counter with a "hundreds of gold" counter, showing 1 for every 100 gold that player has earned.

Since CS values have changed so much, I feel like it's difficult to truly compare counts. Different minions and jungle monsters are worth widely different values. Wards and other creatures (like Zyra plants) count as CS. Turret gold isn't counted in CS. Relic shields confuse minion count. The CS count just no longer gives a true vision of a champion's strength.

Instead, when i press tab to check my opponents, let's see a counter showing me how much gold the champion has earned. Then, I don't have to try to do the math to figure out if my jungler's CS is better than the their top. If I see "25", I know that champion has earned 2500 gold. No matter what position they are playing, I can more easily tell how strong they are.

You could possibly use thousands of gold, and make it show 2.5k.

The only reasons I can think of NOT to do this are:

  1. you want to obfuscate strength. If so, you're doing really well. But I don't think that adds to player experience (or spectator experience, for that matter).

  2. people like to bragg about CS (ahem, Froggen). Cool, keep the count there. Add a new column with gold total.

Thanks for your time. I hope this ends up in a sprint soon!
