you can dodge his ulti, you can't dodge hers and it's a much longer cc and does much more damage.

Vi's ult knocks you up for 1.25 seconds. Hecarim's ult fears you for 1 second. Vi's is only a fourth of a second longer and is single target. This isn't much of a point, but I feel there's so much more counterplay to Vi's ganks rather than Hecarim; he can gank from basically anywhere with how much ms he gets from his e and how you cannot dodge it.
