Dislike the meta

Is it me or is this meta really making anyone else sad? The fact that tanks and marksmans have so much potential right now, makes the rest of the game bland. It really upset me as I took out 40-50 minutes of my time to listen to the Dev's thoughts on League of Legends right now and where to take it, and they barely talked about the solo Q meta. They mostly focused on objectives. Which that is a big part of the game, but the fact that some of the highest tier teams find it ok in this meta to go a marksman Top, Mid, and Bot is kind of absurd (Immortals). The fact Graves has the potential to put out so much damage, yet never die due to tanky Marksman items and Warlords. Tanks on the same hand have so many items to implode their damage while NEVER dying unless extremely far behind early. I would love for mages to get some items to make them stronger in this tanky sense I guess or another meta shift to where you don't have to play a meta champ to win a game and have fun. I am only Gold 2 and I know the game isn't ONLY about the meta tier of it, but the same bans every game and the same picks every game every game is kind of getting old. Bans/Picks: Soraka, Ekko, Voli, Zed, Malphite, Nidalee. I don't know I have been in this community since season 2 and think its time to start enjoining in the community with a friendly board discussion.
