Pre-made item sets for Champions

This is something I discovered when I first began playing the game a couple years back, but I never hear anyone talk about it or seem to use use - Item sets that you make pregame. I see how they could help, but I also don't have issues navigating the recommended to find what I need in the store. The best way I can see it used it to set up and item page for a champion that you play often and lay down all the items for the situations you usually encounter while playing and try to reduce as much time as possible in the shopping area. In a game about strategy and positioning I can see how getting back into the action as quick as possible can be helpful, but is this a good thing to spend time on before hand?

I have made one for which consists of starting items and essentials followed by branches for a winning and losing scenario. Most of all, i think it's just fun to think about what i know about a champion and try to picture what I would do in a situation like a or a support. If you do build items sets, what kind of builds do you do and how efficient are they to you?
