People demand reworks, then they complain about it more than the original champ

At this point, demanding reworks for poorly balanced champions doesn't seem to make the game any better. People want "x old champ" reworked because they're unhealthy for the game, then as soon as they're changed people cry for reverts or whine more about how poorly balanced they are. Like, seriously, what does reworking solve? If Riot couldn't get the kit right the first time what makes you think they'll get it right in modern league? I don't think there's been a balanced rework since

Different people want different things.

I hate reworks, and i'm always opposed to them. Of course i'm going to complain about what they are doing to old champions.

But then again, there are those annoying people that want everything reworked, despite the overwhelming evidence that reworks delete champs.

The people complaining about reworks are generally the mains once they realize Riot changed their champion from a braindead statcheck into an actual champion with actual counterplay. That, or when they changed the champion into one actually played but it plays differently (because, surprise! You can't make a champion play the exact same way and increase the playrate above .2%)

When people ask for reworks, they want good reworks. Asking for a shitty rework to be reverted after asking for a rework is reasonable.

People demand "good" reworks. Not overloaded hot garbage shit with 18 dashes that gets nerfed into the ground after it sells some skins.

Because riot is only making overloaded bullshit reworks. It is like asking for a soraka rework and she gets 2 dashes, a 3 hit passive and execute ult, it is not what players wanted but riot thinks its fun to play.

  1. People want GOOD reworks. Replacing a problem with a problem like they did with Akali is not what people wanted.

  2. Most of the people who want the old champ back didn't want a full rework in the first place.
