What are you opinions on Brand?
What are your thoughts as to why we do not see more brands played as either support or mid?

His one single form of defence is a single-target skillshot stun that requires the target to be ablazed beforehand.
He is squishy.
Outside of his Q, his range is not at all spectacular.
He has no mobility.
He brings one thing to the table and one thing only, damage. However how much does being good at doing damage matter when utility mages are able to do more than enough damage to get their job done already and still off something other than just plain damage?
Brand has Counter Play (or at least what Riot calls counter play) so he sucks.
Fun to play, but not a great pick compared to others.
He has good damage, but he is countered very hard. Galio loves him. His only CC is a stun that only works if he has his passive applied on them, which is easy to dodge. His ultimate is hard to hit and also random, which brings RNG into account when making plays with his ultimate if there's more then two targets to hit. Also his ult is useless in a 1v1.
