End-game grading system... Disappointed

Anyone wanna explain how I got an A+, but this Veigar got S-? Almost everyone on the team outperformed him based on the stats, and yet this happened? I'm not dissing him that he doesn't deserve it, but when the people who contributed more with kill participation and objective prioritization don't get a higher or at least the same grading as him just doesn't make sense.

If he placed a ton of wards combined with a semi decent KDA and did well supporting that might be why. You probably missed S because of your farm. If that game was over 25 minutes then 74 farm won't get you an S

It's because he played veigar in a non-traditional role. The grade it gives you is in comparison to how others do in that lane with that champion. Since few veigars go bot, and even fewer do remotely well, it's very easy to get a high grade with that.
