"You must own the champion in order to earn its mastery chest or key fragments." Why? What do chests or key fragments have to do with champions you own? when i play a champ that is in the free rotation i cannot earn rewards? What?

Masked Lunatic1 votesThe chests i can see because you cannot gain mastery with a champ you don't own = no s rank / chest. Though the key fragments should be separate and drop regardless as they aren't tied to mastery.
