Supers were never interpreted as weak or ineffective to begin with. They did their job just fine: If left unattended, they could halt an opposing wave and thus prevent a siege. Now they not only require 4 of the 5 team members to take out one (much less the other two trailing shortly behind), but they can single-handedly demolish Nexus towers--It's like watching a Vandiril video where he stacks & buffs minions and then lets them loose on objectives. You can also forget about making an effort to stop their advance before they reach your wave; tanking one of these bastards will require approximately half of your health bar, save for the 6-item Maokai.

The one Inhibitor (because remember, there aren't three in this mode) has now become the single most important element of the map. Skills and player-controlled gameplay mechanics can take a backseat. Oh, and if your team doesn't possess any objective-annihilating champions? You'll need a damn miracle.

If the goal was to shorten the match, I'd say you achieved it nicely... while also frustrating the hell out of anyone who finds themselves playing defense. Here's a suggestion (to accompany the thread title): Reduce the timer for allowing Surrenders from 15:00 to 8:00. Not only will average game duration be slashed, but the teams who are coping with an AFK, a DC'd player, or someone who's toxic and/or idling early on can end things swiftly and head out to the next one.
