Placing me in bronze is not fair (to the people in bronze)G5 to B2

I know that it is hard enough to find a system that will make people happy, but I am really sorry for the people in Bronze that I have to play against because I had a poor showing in my placements. Does anyone really think they enjoy playing against someone 2 tiers above them? It pisses me off when I have to play against a plat mid main from Gold 5 because they just did their placements. That's all I have to say... well maybe not. Maybe kicking people down multiple tiers is a bad idea. I don't care if I placed bad in the placements. Out of all of the people I see, even those who kicked ass don't move forward ever. I watched my buddy from plat kick ass to get gold. Anyway, my rant has digressed. I just feel sorry for the guys down here in Bronze as I step on their faces getting back up to Gold, and shooting for plat.

In an effort to show a positive approach I will give a suggestion: I suggest that resets be done away with. As long as you are active, you should be able to play from close to where you left off. Auto knock off some divisions if you have to. I guess then you need to give everyone a feeling of a fresh start, but just hide things for 10 games, but nothing really changes. Now I am really done ranting.

Your MMR has far more to do with your placement than your Placement matches did, this season. You probably had the MMR of a Silver 3 average.

My MMR has literally been halved since this reset. Bronze 2 promos to lower than average Bronze 5. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. It can't honestly still be high Elo players at 500 MMR.

Well, just climb as fast as you can and save the bronzies from yourself, or whatever.

You hit Gold in the first half of Season 4 then completely wrecked your MMR in July, but not low enough to get demoted. Soft reset and placement matches simply updated your League to match your MMR.

In short, even if you can't get demoted easily and the game still shows you as Gold V 0LP, losing a bunch of games will always have a negative impact on your MMR.
