often times i find myself with between 900 and 1100 gold; when im forced to recall either for health, mana, or my enemy laner having backed with tp up.

1250+ is an ideal first back, but i rarely have it. so i buy 1 dorans rings, boots, refillable and a pink.

should i just be buying the dorans ring? should i just buy upgraded boots?

when im forced to back again, a second time w/o the gold should i starve myself since doran ring passives dont stack; going tripple dorans would be bad correct?

im contemplating swapping AP runes for gold income runes; to ensure that first back results in 1250. but the loss of 12 ap is quite large on your early clear. thoughts, opinions?

I dont know much about Viktor but a good idea would be to maybe watch pro players like Bjergsen play him in solo queue to see what to do in different situations? Also don't spam abilities and don't take early fights because Viktor is very weak early game and loses trades. Then you can stay in lane longer and save gold.
