is it really possible for galio to 3 shot an adc with only 248 ap and 262 mr?

Probably.... If you haven't calculated the 131 ap he gets from his 262 mr which gives him a total of 379 ap (that's quite a bit). The damage on his Q at max level wit this much would be about 527. Most adcs only have about 1600 health so it is definitely possible.

This, and Idol of Durand will most definitely kill you if you have a decent amount of AS built.

I have no idea if it shows the ap he gets from his mr (i have never played him), but I would assume it does.

so I've recently been seeing a few Galios. one of the times i played as a malzahar. and when at half health the galio got a full heal off my malefic visions. it was around mid game that started happened. this more recent game. i actually watched stats and at 248ap and 262mr he three shot me with resolute smite, righteous gust and idol of durand. and idol of durand he literally just started and stopped. with me having about 1900 hp and being at full hp.

Never use a DoT on Galio, Bulwark restores his health every time the unit he shields takes damage (he can even get heals from shielding a minion under turret), because DoTs hit multiple times, I think you can see where this is going.

Theres a reason Galio is probably the best counterpick to any mage in the game, he becomes nigh impossible to kill (usually) and essentially gets to farm to his mid~lategame where he can win teamfights with his ult.

Galio's W (runic bulwark) is crazy against DoTs. He can heal off of inhibitor turrets once he finishes spirit visage. When i heard 3 shot, i thought you meant 3 resolute smites, which is actually possible since i've had games where i could kill the enemy Orianna (granted it was aram) in 2 QE combos and the E does quite a bit less than Q.

Strangely enough, yes. Galio actually gets quite a bit of damage on his Q.

I was playing Zac during this match, I had some MR items, which were negatron cloak, spirit visage, and mercury's treads. I also had sunfire's cape and warmog's that put me up pretty darn tanky. I knocked the enemy's galio into our nexus turret with my ultimate, and they retaliated WHILE under turret with their Idle of Durand. We were under turret for a good 3 seconds, and during that entire time galio wasn't even being tickled. When the damage from his ultimate occurred, I took 1538 damage. From a galio with only two abyssal scepters for damage.

There are quite a few items that Galio can make use of, stacking scepter seems pretty goofy. Grail and Roa are pretty staple items on him too.

Galio actually deals quite a bit of damage once he gets a few items. Any DoT champion can't kill him because 1) He instinctively builds MR and 2) his W heals him as he takes damage. His combo (usually QER) can definitely kill a carry, but I haven't seen many Galios use their ult like that, it's usually in team fights Also, his ult becomes amazing when you have Spirit Visage and W before hand, plus you can build a Thornmail for extra damage to the people you taunt

Yeah okay? His Q is also a super slow projectile, he's super mana hungry, has pretty poor cooldowns, and the whole time he's trying to Q you you are damaging him consistantly and LIFESTEALING.

item 3174 No mana problems after this, and it's usually a rush item on Galio. You're not playing him right.
