Juggernauts and the state of the game.

So one thing that completely boggles my mind is that Riot is more focused on releasing expensive skins than they are with actually balancing the game. As you can tell by the title that juggernauts would be a main point of this post, they're in an extremely lucrative spot and it seems that Riot does not care whatsoever. In every draft game, a majority of the bans, if not all of them, go towards the same champions. In every single ban pick.

I know this just seems like it's me just complaining after a bad game but come on. This has to bother some other people besides me. I also understand that they're in this business to make money and that's the bottom line but it has to come to a point where they make so much money that it shouldn't matter all that much anymore. They should be focusing on balancing and making this game better for the people that made them so much money in the first place.

I am sort of "salty" about all of the decisions Riot makes and I admit that I am so no one can just respond by just saying I'm salty, because I can admit that I am. It's just infuriating that Riot cares more about the money and not the players. It would be awesome if they would fix the broken client and balance out at least some of the champions.

The existence of Juggernauts is a balance solution Riot made to try and fix the game, because let's be honest mobility creep has been ruining the game for far too long.

Though those champs are too oppressing and each of them have their own personal issues (some more than others), but overall it's not all bad and one can see the potential of it really working out.

It's not that they don't care, they are just caring about what you may like less now, which is actually good.

Hopefully they won't gut everything back to square one like what they have been repeating for god knows how long already.

I have no problems with Juggernauts, in fact I'm kinda happy with the, those fours guys has been without any sort of play in so much time is nice to finally see them again to show some balance, I was so tired of the same gnar and riven top it gets boring really fast

It was nice to see a change in the champs that people were playing constantly but it's not like these champs were played about 1% of the time. They still saw a decent amount of play, (from what I encountered).

Aside from Darius that is a hard counter of some of the popular guys top and it was the only reason he saw play more often than the rest, Skarner and Morde were never played, they were right next to Urgot, Poppy and Yorick. Garen did see some play on lows elos because of his ability to punish position mistakes, which low elos do on excess, but as you climb he also became non existant.

you realize these champs went from nothing to broken in one patch they basically said was hey lets try this shit and see how it does

turns out it did stupidly well, but if your logic is that they only care about making more money, and more importantly its not about balancing the game, why would they have even made those moves to bring those champions back into play?

Well the thing was that it was on the PBE for how long exactly? So they should have at least gotten some idea about how bad it was going to be. It wasn't just a flick of a switch right before patch hit, it was a long process that required their employees to input numbers and change stuff around so they should have been aware of what was to come. And to answer your question; they obviously care more about money then the players and balance but they still need to do some stuff to make it seem like they care.

Juggernauts are supposed to combat mobility creep which they did quite well.

if u still dont like them they will get nerfed next patch. all of them.

I'm pumped that they're nerfing them but who truly knows if it will be enough. And as something as OP as these guys, you think that they could input hotfixes for them and not make everyone wait for a couple of months.

Your attitude is wrong, very much so.

You really think LoL was in the state of balance before?

A couple of months? The next patch will be next week.

I really hate to be that guy but it's been 2 weeks and no patch in sight; no nerfs abound. It's really great that Riot has been doing their hardest to try to balance this stuff out. Fantastic job.

well i dont think there going to be any hotfixes for the next patch since its worlds patch. and i do think these nerfs are enough to balance them and they will be less problem than mobility champions like riven and vayne who did not get nerfed yet..

They pretty much all have nerfs incoming so what's the problem again? Is it just an impatience thing?

Juggernauts are fine. Aside from Garen, they've all been made both interesting and all 4 of them have incredibly fair kits.

The only thing that could be an issue with them is their numbers which aren't far from being right.

so, you're complaining about the company continuing to stay in business... I guess you can do that....
