He needs more power in his shield or hp. It's pretty worthless atm.

They could buff his attack speed so he could go into the jg, but they do not need t buff his AD or AP. This game is horrible when tanks can 100-0 squishies without buying a single damage item.

Any tank that cannot function without doing damage is not a tank and needs to be reworked. Period.

I agree just a little bit more of AS and he's good to go.

I miss the passive Bladed Armor from old masteries. It used to help tanks clear a lil bit better.

What if we allowed him to retain his W DoT effect after the shield breaks, but only against minions and monsters?

Just his passive auto imo. Staggering Blows needs to be WAY faster. A root hardly matters if they can dash half a second after you start autoing to apply it.

This x 100, his AA animation is painfully slow

I would be on board giving him a teense bit more AP and attack speed, but idk if he really needs the ap. His hook damage is great for early picks because it has ridiculous base damage. With the right runes, his r+q+e can do enough damage to guarantee squishy kills for the adc, even into mid game. Late game, his strength definitely lies in being a tank tho.

There is no late game for tanks. Most of his power budget is his cc (q=hook, e =slow, r=knock up, passive=root) he has nothing else. He is struggling hard top and jungle. If he wants to trade he has to go in and has no way to get out (q is too slow dash to get out most of the time).

If you want to buff him give him ground effect if he aa with active w.

Oh, for sure his jungle and top lane play is a mess and incredibly weak in this meta. I always play him support, I find his cc and tankiness work much better there. Playing him top or jungle is a nightmare unless it's jungle in nexus blitz imo.

If you want to do damage on nautilus build item 3151 and take ravenous hunter rune in order to convert all of that extra damage into healing.

Your e will make you more tanky than your w.

You can take any other rune from domination, its up to you, cheap shot is probably the best option since youre a tank.

brah.. Naut is OP af.. and extremely tanky since an early stage. I get kills all the time with him. But I get it lol everyone is getting a buff.. why not us supports right. =D I second it BUFF SUPPORTS!

Beside general tank Buffs to base defenses that need to happen pretty much across the board for tanks and fighters. Id rather see nautilus with an attack speed buff and a buff to His ap scaling For his Shields damage and allow the shield itself to have an ap scaling too 20-35% is good. Or give the shield better base strength and let it scale to 25% of max hp because all of those shield gutting nerfs he got isnt fair at all.

I would raise the cooldown on his shield, and knock up the base damage as well as the hp, and give him an actual attack speed per level growth. What is the point in having an auto-attack steroid if you attack so slowly you can't make any use out of it without building attack speed?

This also upsets me since Nautilus used to be a really fun jungler, but thanks to LCS players, he got shoved into the support role, which is imo a super boring way to play him.

I think you're right but only with scaling AD and ASPD. Early game he can do good damage with W. Later on, yes he's slow and an extremely poor damage dealer. Maybe that's okay though. Maybe he would turn out OP otherwise.

Until about two weeks ago, I hadn't played League since Season 7. I would go Support most often with him, then Top the second most, and rarely Jungle. I used to do amazing with him Support and Top back then, however these days seem to be different. I think the issue with support is his poor movement and sustain.

The patch that just happened should help a bit with the increased armor. That maybe was definitely needed. Let's see how things go now

If anything I want to see his defensives and cc get buffed more.
