PSA: Ranked Games

I'm sure this has been said a dozen times but I am just tired of wasting my time with players in ranked.

Look, I am ok if you're not a good player or even just have a bad game. But please ask for help if you're losing your lane instead of dying repeatedly. My biggest pet peeve however are the players that play ranked games but can only play 2-3 different champs or only 1 lane. You need to know at least 3 champs for each lane, more to counter and to do team comp teams. But 3 champs would allow you to have 1 get banned, 1 get picked by the enemy team leaving you the 3rd champ still available. Just this last week I have been in about a dozen games(probably more) where 1 or 2 players could only play a certain lane or champ, it really sucks.

Ranked games are the "end game" of LoL, play normals and and even draft pick normal to practice and learn, use team builder to practice certain champs. But please for all that is holy take ranked seriously and not shoot your team in the foot right out the gate please.

I'm not here saying I'm good because I'm not, just know wtf you're doing before joining a ranked game.

Thank You.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of one-trick ponies.

I don't mind if you specialize in a certain role or champion, but you should at least be able to cover the other roles competently.

I'm not asking you to fill every role at the same level of proficiency but it helps to have 2 or 3 champions you know relatively well and to know what you are supposed to do in each role.

While this may not be as much of an issue in the coming season if they release the Teambuilder-lite for ranked games, there isn't really an excuse at the moment.

It's even worse when someone can't tell they've been counter picked. XD

I say it every time people make one of these threads. I can easily climb one trick ponying Jinx. The only reason you're not climbing is you.
