My damage to champions stat is very low and I can't bring it up

hey guys. I contribute in games, heck, I've made game changing plays, but when the game ends and I go to grid, my damage to champions is pretty low. I don't think I've ever got my damage to champs past 19k, and my average is around 13k. I have basic ad runes, masteries for every champ I play (kha zix, Quinn, kayle, Braum, cho gath, talon, Jayce, volibear, kindred) and I just seem to never have damage. The reason I am asking is, even though I've read it is somewhat an uneffective way of judging a person's ability, I'm constantly picked on by everyone because my damage is low, especially on solo target champs like kha or Quinn. Maybe I'm just bad, but I've logged over 500 hours into DOTA and atheist 300 into league. Any tips or things I cold do? I've tried everything I've read, and nothing is working. Please help!

idk all of the champions you listed are split pushing, in-and-out champions. mayyyybe kayle and chogath could be doing more aoe. your jayce damage should definitely be higher b/c he has a lot of poke. siege up with your team on jayce and just poke people; it'll boost your damage stat in no time. if you're contributing and fighting well and playing the map well, i don't see any reason to care about your damage to champions. if you're holding back and you're unwilling to die to deal game-changing damage, then that's a problem.

my best suggestion for you is to record your games and watch the teamfights. think about where you could have been, who you could have been hitting. cheers

Damage to champions isn't a good metric to judge your impact to the game with. I do the most damage to champions practically every game with Morgana, even on the losing team, but that damage output is NOT why I win or lose with her.

Basic league mechanics like knowing who to focus when in teamfights, what's a good pick to dive on for a teamfight, or when to push objectives - those things win games, not the damage metric.

Otherwise everyone would just play brand and go "huehuehue look at mua damages I is pro"
