Ekko
- Ekko's stun is too long for an assassin.
- Ekko can still teleport with his E while snared.
I've been playing a ton of ekko lately and that stun requires you to literally predict where your opponent is going to be or put it in a spot where you preemptively know you can force the enemy laner opponent into it. not only that you have to step into at the right time. if you step into too soon they won't be stunned.
Ekko is very skill intensive as all of his abilities outside of E are very skill reliant.
Everything about his kit is fair in my opinion after having played him. he is a great champion design.
His Q does little to no damage on release and does most of its damage on return, which is very easy to side step or get out of. it requires the ekko to know how to get the return damage and even then the enemy CAN outplay it. the passive is relatively easy to land as it is just E/auto > Q > Auto, run away. but most of the time you will take some return damage as you have to dive into melee range to do this. his W again, is very difficult to land. and his R requires the opponent to basically forget about it or not track it as you can physically see where his ult is going to be when it is up. you also have the distinct advantage of knowing when he does not have ultimate. most champions do not let you know when their ultimate is down.
there is literally nothing wrong with ekko. Ap ekko is an amazing design and a whole lot of fun to play as and against. if he beats you is definitely outplaying you and I like that. does he have a shit ton of tools to outplay you? yep. but he also has to use them properly. he makes you feel SMART playing him. which i believe is the intention of the design.
Jungle ekko was more of an issue as full tank ekko still deals decent base damages while his ultimate heals him for so much after tanking so much damage.
