Supporting

Okay, obviously there's a lot people can say about supporting. I main support. It's a very challenging role, and it's really rewarding when your adc gets fed and you can help them carry into late game. The amount of utility on most supports is just super fun to lay down in a teamfight. But there's a severe deficit of people willing to play support, and when I try to branch out to another role, I either have to beat 4 people with faster computers than mine to a call in a normal game, or I have to wait about 15 minutes to find a support in teambuilder. I don't know about anyone else, but I have issues with this. Why is support such a bad role to be in? That said, I'm not entirely sure how this issue could be solved, but maybe one issue is from level 1 people are taught to carry instead of support. Only one of the free champions is a support, I believe: lux. She's not even really a great support as far as supports go, so it makes the role that much more unappealing. Another issue I see is that supports are never rewarded for anything. Their job is to gather assists throughout the game, and they get little to no recognition for an amazing play that secured their adc a kill. I suggest some way of rewarding supports in lane for their endeavors other than their assist gold as a starting place. Another idea might be to release a support champion (it's been a while). All the changes made to this game have been to benefit or destroy another role, and I think it's time we see supports get some love? Please?

not everyone enjoys playing thresh/leona/janna over and over.
