Mundo Buffs from a Mundo Main for the last 3-4 years

So I mained Mundo and got to gold in season 5/6 and plat in season 7/8 with him. What I can tell you is he is in a horrid place right now, and that's fine. Am I annoyed at the place he's in? Yes, because it means I can't have fun as him at my elo as even when the enemy top are crap I can't do shit to punish them or their team.

But thats not what I'm here to talk about, I'm here to talk about the buffs, and yes they are too strong but the issue is that power creep is a thing and until riot properly addresses it champions like mundo need to be elevated to at least the minimum playing field where they can impact the game (to be clear the minimum playing field only means that when you play well you are rewarded in some form), and I'm not saying that every champion should be viable but rather every champion has something that they can do well enough to contribute to the team.

Now do I personally like these buffs? No, because they don't address the core issues that I consider when playing Mundo. Which shouldn't be how fast can I kill/break something, but rather how much aggro can I draw before I need to pull out, how much attention can I pull for my carries to do their job, etc. these damage buffs only serve to help him at a base level rather than help him do what his main purpose is, which is to go where he pleases. So yes these buffs are bad, but its wrong to say that champs like mundo should be left in the dust. All I'm really hoping for is that when he does get rework his core gameplay will still revolve around being the general pain in the ass that he is to the enemy team.

So yeah, minor rant aside TLDR: Plat Mundo Main here, Buffs bad because they don't focus on what makes Mundo Mundo which is being a fat pain in the ass.
