The Boy Who Cried Toxic

To the people the four people I have encountered in the last week that can't take criticism, the Nami that was too tired, and any other person that cries toxic without realizing they are the ones that are creating the atmosphere. YOU are the problem.

I have never even been warned on this account which I am sure I will soon because I have been very brutal lately in game chat while trying to get back into gold since I elo decayed down to silver 3 from gold 4. There is one common theme that I have seen continuing to grow over the past few seasons. The word 'toxic'. It gets used so haphazardly now that it's ridiculous and what was once acceptable criticism is now 'toxic'. So far on my journey back I have run into people that have made huge misplays and when teammates or myself ask why or if they could not do that again, so far out of the five instances of this, three of the people decided to claim 'toxic' and then intentionally feed into towers as what they think was a just punishment. Hell, even this last game in my promos I unfortunately saw what just happened all too often.

The problem that I see from this and a troubling trend is that while these people claim toxic because people go from criticism to hostility toward them, they fail to realize they are creating the circumstances. Last game we had a Nami that was playing poorly and made some huge mistakes and when asked why by the team she said "I am honestly really tired and should of gone to bed". When I replied asking why the hell she couldn't of just queued normal if she was so tired, she replied "Because I wanted to get carried".

Here in lies the problem. After that second response things went from a tad hostile to other teammates cussing her out since they were in a promo as well. She claims toxic and that she is reporting them, but fails to acknowledge that her lack of courtesy towards players trying to gain ranking is what caused the situation in the first place. This is why we need something to protect players in game.

I know Riot feels that they can't implement a voted upon loss forgiven if someone is DC long enough or a vote kick in the lobby because they think it will be abused, but to that I say....have you ever tried to get people to surrender with 4 votes, much less if you needed four votes to kick someone or to surrender after like 10 mins with a DC with no LP penalty? It would be pretty damn hard.

However, back to the original point. I know there can be a decent amount of toxic people in ranked, but before you go around slinging that this person or that person is toxic, you may want to think about why they are being so hostile toward you.

I mean there's criticism and theirs being a Dick. On this subject it's hard to be on your side personally (Because we don't know each other so we cant judge non that) but as far as subject goes yea i agree.

it is a growing issue of people seeing criticism as hostel engagement, or Feeding as punishment to teammates because they don't want to surrender as an acceptable behavior. Solving this problem is really an issue. Because as far is Moba Community goes we can do so little against them. Yes there will be stuff like the Honoring system which worked not bad but later on become obscure. Even the button for it doesn't have it's box.

point is we need a better system then honer system. Or maybe try to improve the honer system. Have some kind of reward or effect when you have high honer. They should get rid of the cumulative honer on the profile rather how often you are honored by people. Make it so it help ranked people get pared with other helpful teammates and such. Something like that.

I think i just got side tracked.

New game new bs. Just had a Ryze that is throwing the game because even though we are winning Vi didn't gank for him so he isn't going to help team. So done with this game.

there's allot of problem that we are all too familiar with dood. It is inevitable when playing with random. either it's normals or ranked.

I have never gotten a toxic player before maybe because I'm overly nice genuinely. If you see everyone as wanting to improve and good then your teammates will trust you back.
