Afkers Affecting Rank

I know there have been previous complaints about afkers in ranked games, and the only solution people seem to have is, "deal with it, we all have to." Why is that? I looked at other people in my rank and how many wins they have, and think to myself that there were probably so many games they played just like mine, where they had to deal with 1 or even 2 afkers in their ranked games, which then just inhibits their progress and development to reach higher ranks. I find it nearly impossible, and I know others feel that way, to reach higher ranks when (for ex), if your adc and have no support, you can't farm well and then are put behind the entire game which makes it even harder to do your role. If League created some sort of system that allows teams, or even individual players that have to deal with so many afkers, to not let a game take away your points in ranked that would be very useful. It's good that there is a system to punish those who do afk, but the people who deal with it, seriously get hurt in ranked. A new system to help those that deal with problems like this often would be useful. (As long as it can't be abused profusely) But this is just, my opinion after all.
