Sooo. The fill role. You use it and next game or so you get a tool tip pop up in the bottom center of your client. It says since you have recently played the fill role you are guaranteed on of your roles in the next game........ you only can pick two roles and regardless of wether you picked fill or not your going to get one of them. How bout updating the wording to a higher chance of your first pick or getting rid of it altogether since it's confusing?

Its really only ment to keep people from being auto-filled two matches in a row. If you aren't encountering auto-fill, then the feature is meaningless to you.

Well the point is, it is in the game. I read it. It's confusing. Obviously since I am an educated sort of fellow they should find a way to at least explain it easier as I stated above. This is not if your using it or not kind of debate. It's a tool tip aka ment to make you understand something. If it's not stating what you want it to say in a short and concise manner... well it's not working.

I didn't find it even the least bit confusing. It seems pretty obvious to me what it means. "You're guaranteed one of your selected roles this game because you recently autofilled." So you are guaranteed to get one of the roles you selected this time, and cannot be autofilled. Is the confusion is coming from the fact that you can gain this by manually selecting fill yourself? It was probably done so to try and offer up a little bit of something for people to queue fill, even though it really doesn't matter.

I responded because the only way this wouldn't make sense is if you didn't know what Autofill is. To clarify, Autofill is a feature Riot implemented for times when queue lengths are excessive. If it triggers, it will then take people outside of their selected roles and push them into a match just to get a match going. Example : You queue Mid/Top, queue times are deemed too excessive, autofill kicks in and puts you into a match as support. You will gain this autofill immunity for your next match. You can also gain this protection by manually queueing fill, but that isn't terribly meaningful because someone who manually queues fill probably already doesn't mind being filled.

Does that help?

Not only does that help immensely it begs the question why the game itself does not explain this. Now the tool tip is understandable.I do play fill alot but also other people's problems come to light as how the people I am playing with get put in roles they never once put in for. They should probably have a one time thing pop up say as you stated above that if the q time is too excessive that you will be placed into a position just for the games matchmaking sake. Because for the life of me and all the patch notes tool tips and every thing else I've read I have never once come across that.
