[Suggestion] A Small Step To Solve A Big Problem: Draft Pick Roles

The new draft pick system, where you pick your primary and secondary roles beforehand, works well, but in my opinion could use a little help to make it better and a little more balanced. Currently, picking support as secondary will almost always give you support role, and picking mid as secondary will almost always grant you your primary role. There is a difference between "i dont mind playing as support" and "I want to play as support" and the system does not see that. BUT, in my opinion, the system is not to blame, it simply works with the supply and demand.

I think i have a good idea, inspired by this post, to help bring some balace to this, not by changing the system, but by changing the people.

TL;DR: Shit's kinda broken, here's a small fix:

Bonus IP:

Let's imagine that every role has the same number of players. That would mean 20% of players for every role (let's call this percentage: X). Why not give a % of bonus IP for every role, that regularly rises and falls depending on the value of X for that specific role? This meaning that if X is 20% or more, you get 0 bonus IP.

For example, let's imagine that only 5% of the players are going for support, and so by picking this role you would get 60% bonus IP. The players then start playing support more and the number rises to 10% of the players picking support: you would then recieve 40% bonus IP. Support supply rises again to 15%, you then recieve 20% bonus IP for that role. These numbers are just for the sake of the example.

Now, it would be up to RIOT to come up with a reasonable % of bonus IP, as these numbers are just examples to explain my point.

Although this is not a direct fix (and i don't think such things can exist in these situations) I do believe this would help bring some balance to the supply of players for each role.

A well-reasoned plan.

Here is a problem with IP: http://s33.postimg.org/4f41on7gv/Untitled.png

You make a very good point there, i did not think of that. edit: with the addition of Hextech Mystery Champion Shards, I think people will be spending a LOT more IP to upgrade their champions to mastery 6 and 7.
