Autofill in Norms

Can we please have auto-fill disabled in norms? I play primarily normal games due to the fact that I really only play League to have fun and play lots of different champs. That being said i really don't enjoy either of the bot lane roles, duo lanes just aren't for me, so when I constantly get auto-filled it gets really annoying because I'm forced to sit through a 20 minute game playing a role I'd rather not play. On the contrary I totally understand why auto-fill is important in ranked play however that importance doesn't seem as applicable in normal games. At the very least allow the player to decide whether to have it on or off.

Norms is primarily the place where you prepare for ranked. You NEED to learn fill positions to be good at the game.

Another reason fill is needed is to greatly reduce the wait times. Unless you would be happy waiting 15 minutes for one game.

You don't seem to understand that we ALREADY WAIT 10-15 minutes to get into a game. Add on to that the fact that half the time it ends up being a guaranteed loss because you have autofilled people trolling...

If you are waiting that long now, you would be waiting 30+ minutes without the auto fill.

No, we wouldn't be. Because we would have to go through 5 champ selects just to get into a match because someone got autofilled support.

That's the thing that I'm saying, I don't play ranked because I don't enjoy 4 people telling me I'm bad for 20 minutes. That's why I think auto-fill in norms should be able to be turned on or off depending on why you're playing norms

No offense, but if all 4 teammates are saying you are bad, they are probably right.

That's even more reason why you need to practice fill roles.

Its was an obvious overstatement but I can see you didn't get my point. I don't enjoy ranked because I tilt too easily and listening to my teammates flame each other and me for the entire game when we're losing isn't that fun. So why is auto-fill included in normal games where its main function serves no purpose? If people want to practice fill roles, they'd queue for them in normals instead of relying on being auto-filled

Norms are there to prepare you for ranked. That's why you have the auto fill in normals, to prepare you to be filled in ranked.

There really isn't any reason for it to exist in Normals, because it exists only to keep Flex que alive, which many people treat as a Normal anyway.

I'd rather take it away from ranked games to increase balancing in ranked games. It's really much harder to play with an autofilled anything in ranked than normals.
