When ever I play Draven 
, the axes mess me up every single time. Like if I'm chasing to get a kill, my axes never go far enough ahead where I can catch them but also still be able to chase. I always have to click back and lose a lot of distance I had between me and my enemy. Can anybody explain why or how to make them go further if possible?
Zone of Endless1 votesWhen you throw the axe press W and click forward before it hit the enemy. The reason W reset each time you catch an axe is so you can use it again for move speed bonus to chase.
Meep Man1 votesThe axes won't usually line up to where you can throw it and continue moving in the same direction without having to stop and catch it. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a point in Draven having to catch them if you could throw them and then just catch them as you go without stopping in the direction you want. They provide an absurd damage boost, so it requires trade offs.
Axes will try and path towards where you are moving however. They won't usually be able to be caught without any interrupted movement however.
Narzal1 votesYou gotta learn the real mechanics of positioning with Draaaaven, the right ms, the right kiting( hence why they can go backwards so you can kite) But it also teaches you a lesson, should you chase a axe that will be fall a morg q? or move in the right directions so that the axe goes into a position you want?It's ridiculous but if you can see where the axes will always land, you can hit challenger. Many have fallen though, like a lot a lot, but if you got the right game sense, and mechanics you will make a certain legend proud.
