The story of a Rengar main (my own personal opinion of what i think riot should do with Rengar)
So i think im one of many Rengar Mains that think this way and im not going to remain silent any longer:
I started playing league in season 4 and when i started my main reason of playing league was to have fun playing the game.
when i started i didnt know what role i wanted to main and my favourite champions were aatrox and draven.
in the beginning of season 5 i decided i want to make my main role the jungle due to me enjoying it more then any other lane.
in June of 2015 i have found my new main that i will allways love and remember as the most enjoyable time playing league of legends with, Rengar.
when i just started playing rengar i was terrible at him, i didnt know how to use my e mid air, how to manage my ferocity, how to snowball the game or even the oneshot combo(yes there was a combo for oneshoting, its not just spamming ur abilities while mid air...)
Im pretty sure i had a 30% win rate on him for around 50 games due to him being weak early and abusable until he gets items or if he snowballed the game.
but i loved every second of playing him, i didnt care if i won or lost, i found the game enjoyable and it was the most fun i ever had with league.
after around 100 games on him i decided that he is my main and that i wanted to know EVERYTHING there is to know about rengar. every combo, every strategy, everything.
i finished season 5 in silver 4 and when season 6 started i really got into league in a more competitive side and played many ranked games and i ended up in Diamond 5 in the end of Season 6 with 275 games played as rengar and with a 57% win rate on him.
even after his ult q and e nerfs i still played him because i found him fun.
but then it started, the meme that will destroy my enjoyment of playing the game that i love. the "Adc in 2k16 Lul" meme.
this meme that was created by salty low elo players that made the league community ramp up against rengar and made everybody call him OP (cough 48% win rate cough),they didnt care that renagr had depth to his kit and he is very hard to master, all they cared about is that they are kogmaw that is 0\2\4 split pushing alone bot lane and a 12\1 rengar comes out of nowhere and oneshots them.
they didnt care that he is fed AF or that they were out of position solo, no no no, its more like : OMFG HOW IS THIS CHAMPION EVEN ALLOWED TO BE IN THE GAME?!!
after a few monthes of silver players spreading the meme the assassin rework was announced, and when i heard of it i was terrified... i didn't care if they changed his abilities, i just wanted riot to keep him an assasin and to maintain his theme and playstyle.
when he first came up on the pbe i spammed games of him (yes i have a pbe account) and he felt amazing.
he could get 1000 ad, could aoe oneshot and felt really fun.
but it wasn't renagr that was fun, it was the fact that he was op that was fun.
after they balanced him out i suddenly understood that it wasn't rengar that made the gameplay on the pbe fun, it was him being op.
so after a few weeks of him being on the live servers, people understood the power of his kit and started building him as a bruiser due to his new passive and his new w.
even tho i still play renagar, i dont enjoy him as much as i did playing the old one.
i have 800k mastery on him and 690k is from 1 year and a half of playing the old one and 110k is from the new one that i have been playing for 9 monthes, so that shows you that i haven't been playing rengar much since the rework.
I hope riot will understand that most of the Rengar main community does not like the current rengar and would like to get a response from riot about what are they going to do with him.
i personally think that the old rengar was not broken, that fact that his q could crit was the strong aspect of him.
in my opinion, if they made it so his q could not crit but increased its ad ratio so full ad rengar would be viable and not crit renagr, increased the ! range of his ult but increased the movespeed towards enemy champions and perhaps change it to camouflage instead of invisibility in order to give more counter play, and bring back the old ferocity system and bonetooth necklace,he would be in a good place for everyone, for the renagr player and they squishy against him.
if riot refuses to revert renagr with a few changes (like they did to kogmaw recently) thats fine, but i hope they will rework him again in order to restore his assasiny theme and playstyle.
I appreciate you all for reading till the end.

do!) Now his Q is plain boring with area damage and a little dash, nothing diverse.
his W used to heal a flat amount scaling with levels, now it heals like Ekko's old ult(just without the scaling on it.), and his E remained unchanged as it was a bugfest, such as his E having no cooldown when playing old Rengar, for several patches even though Riot thought they fixed it, people kept the bug going. Now what I truly want is Rengar being satisfying and diverse again, and Riot does nothing about it even though most Rengar mains kind of quit him.
Thanks for reading.
