Deterministic Crit Chance No RNG Easy to See
The Idea
New bar (maybe circular one around where your level is displayed on the nameplate/healthbar hud).
Every basic attack/skill that can crit fills the bar by your crit chance%.
When a crit is available. [current% + crit% >= 100] the bar changes colour or glows. to indicate to you that your next attack is a crit, and to the enemy that your next attack is a crit.
if your current% + crit% > 100, the remainder goes towards getting to your next crit.
When out of combat for t seconds, where out of combat means you haven't taken damage from/dealed damage to minions, champions, monsters or structures, your bar fills by your crit chance % once every x seconds up to 50%.
Examples: Crit chance = 30%
Each basic attack/skill that can crit fills your bar by 30%. if your bar is at least 70% full, it will glow indicating your next auto will be a crit. If your bar is 90% full, after your crit, the bar will be 20% full.
If you are out of combat for t seconds, (no damage dealt, no damage taken), you gain 30% of your bar every x seconds up to 50%.
Reasoning
Critical strikes are used across the board. Everyone at least has basic attacks, and everyone could technically build ad/crit. So a bar seems acceptable as it is Easy to interpret at a glance for both the player and their enemies. It doesn't overload you with information. It doesn't overwhelm new players like representing them as stacks would. Your crit chance truly represents the crit frequency. Passive filling of crit bar when out of combat doesn't guarantee a crit on your next hit unless the %chosen + your crit% >= 100, but it helps compensate for when you are setting up with your team and may not necessarily have a target to attack. Eliminates RNG completely in an easy readable fashion.
