why is master yi getting nerfed but not taric the real issue

When you look at whats all wrong with this strat its not yi taking farm its for a champ to be a mid laner and have no farm but still be extremely useful why do they give supports so much base power that they require basically no gold is it just laziness there cc and utilities don't have more scaling like tarics ult scaling with bonus health or ap for its duration yeah supports have less gold but it does not mean they deverse a free pass to always be extreme relative in fights and beable to shutdown like a 10-0 champ in a team fight when there 0-5 .Atm taric mid has a 57% winrate while yi sits at 50.5% in jg supports have been way over tuned for far too long and everyone else is suffering for it cause there impossible to shutdown cause they need no gold they have gotten adcs nerfed to the ground now seems yi is next .

nerf taric and yi + kayle would be a thing ... the problem is yi so thats why lol

The kayle thing is not rly that great its ok but u can also do all these strats with twitch as well btw

Because Yi is the stronger of the two in low to mid elo. Hitting Yii is enough to make it a less ideal boosting strat. If it wasn't being used to boost account, like if this was a higher MMR or pro strat, its likely we would see it be taric getting nerfed. As it stands the most impact is going to be in lower mmr and that's comping from Yi.

If this strat wasn't built to cheese low to mid mmr we would not call it the "boosting" strat. It would be God mode Yii or funneled yi if it was only a high/pro elo problem.

its done because a feed yii can pub stomp. So for balance, thats who you target, and they did it in a way that's pretty reasonable by reducing his ability to just grab lane cs in a heartbeat.

Let me know if you feel i am being unreasonable in my post please.

I agree it should not be a strat at all but the wave clear effects yi in other ways to like splitting or just clearing minions in general yis been avg in low elo for a long time and weak in high elo basicly forever while you have supports being just broken with over tuned base stats that allow this kind of crap mid like I posted this as well how u can do this with twitch as well like u can nerf this but as long as support can funnel gold and exp to anyone it could be an issue imagine like nunu kat nunu could make the jg clear aton easier for kat and give her aton of ap .

As a champ he is fest or famine. If you make a skill gap between him and others he feasts more then he will famine in low elo. He is a great Cheese option if you have the skill to back it up. This Strat is build around that, it just shoves more feast into him. It hurts his split, yes, it hurts his lane, yes, thou the MP cost change does help him a bit.

I really do feel that this is a nerf target properly. Now that funneling has shown potential as a strat havein Yi funnel needs to be nerfed. Taric nerfs will just shift to a new support funnel. Constantly nerfing supports is not the response needed to deal with this, it just makes all of them worse at their jobs with out addressing the issue. The issue was he clears minions to fast with Q. Ye can still farm and get ahead then crush a split push by eating waves in moments, he cant walk into a lane and whipe a wave with a single Q as easily.

Its a good trade off for nerfing the boost Strat with out gutting the champion yi. its impacts most negative for the boost strat then it is for his lane or split potential.
