What Happened to Matchmaking Today?

I queue as primary support, secondary jungle. In 12 games today, I have been auto-filled (somehow, despite the icon saying that I am 'Autofill Protected') to mid 3 times, gotten support 3 times, got jungle in a game where our support was a jungle main, so we traded, and dodged the rest (that's 5 dodges where I was auto-filled to another random lane other than support/jungle, and at least 2 other players on my team were in a role that they do not main).

Is someone at Riot trying out some new random matchmaking mechanic on prod before testing it? This is absolutely insane.

While writing this, got auto-filled to ADC.. NEAT Oh, and at Plat/Diamond MMR, we've got someone who was gold last season and has not played a game at all this season. DOUBLE NEAT Now I have a 30 minute Queue Dodge Timer and lost LP because Matchmaking is broken.
